Due to our growth potential, we are expanding our executive team with a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) position. The CCO will be a pivotal leader within Act-3D, reporting into the CEO and responsible for driving the company’s commercial strategy and overseeing all sales and marketing activities. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS and partner sales, a deep understanding of our market dynamics (preferably AEC sector knowledge), and the ability to build, inspire, connect and lead a high-performing team.
Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve company revenue goals and strategic objectives.
Lead and mentor the Head of Sales and the Head of Marketing, setting clear performance objectives and ensuring strong cooperative relationships between the two departments. In the meanwhile working closely with the product development team in order to share market information and discuss strategy.
Sales and Sales Operations Leadership:
Develop a strategic view on our future Sales Department and recruit and build the Sales Department accordingly, together with the Head of Sales. Make sure both the Sales Operations Team and the Partner Management Team are developed towards a high performing team, in a structured, scalable way. Be the driver behind recruiting new high quality sales colleagues.
Be the sparring partner for the Head of Sales in order to structure the sales processes. Set ambitious sales targets and develop plans to meet or exceed them. Monitor and analyze
sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results for both direct channel and the international partners.
Foster strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and challenges. Implement customer retention strategies to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify and target key markets and new partners, developing tailored approaches to maximize penetration and growth. Explore and implement innovative sales techniques and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness:
Work closely with the marketing manager to create effective campaigns that drive brand awareness and generate leads.
Guide the marketing Manager and team to develop and execute integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to enter and grow in these markets both from a marketing and sales perspective.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Act as the voice of the customer within the company, advocating for their needs and driving product improvements.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Leadership:
Master’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field, a degree in Marketing would be an advantage.
10+ years of experience in an international, B2B sales management role, at least 5 years of experience within a SaaS or technology company, a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Clear understanding of SaaS business models, market dynamics, and customer needs.
Interest in the AEC sector, preferably sales experience selling AEC software or alike.
Proven track record of partner sales experience and a clear strategic vision on how to manage the Partner Channel.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a commercial team.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, able to thrive in a cross cultural environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Fluency in English.
