Squadra.nl has undergone a significant makeover, and we’re very proud of the result. Did you know that Squadra means ’team’ and ‘collaboration’ in Italian? These are key values embedded in our DNA. At Squadra, everything revolves around working together as “Una Squadra”. We wanted a website that reflects this spirit and brings together all our units, enabling us to better share our collective story with visitors.

The digital transformation of Squadra.nl
During the development of our new website, we combined technology and design to create a modern, fast and secure platform. This ensures the website meets not only our needs but also those of our users. The result is a future-proof website that can grow with our plans.
Modern technical architecture
The site is statically generated using Hugo, which offers several key benefits, including high speed (and fast load times), improved security and scalability. By hosting on a scalable platform with tool integrations, future updates can be rolled out quickly and efficiently.
User-friendly content management
Hugo is integrated with CloudCannon, a CMS system that allows our colleagues to easily publish content and keep the website up-to-date. For managing and optimizing media assets, we use Cloudinary.
Consistent design
By choosing consistent visual elements and colors, we’ve created an accessible look. The use of color strengthens our visual identity and ensures that key elements, such as buttons, are instantly recognizable. The use of papercraft-style illustrations and action-driven icons gives the website a more personal and modern feel.
Usability
The website is built with a clear structure and intuitive navigation, centered around our six main themes. These are incorporated into an organized site layout, enabling visitors to quickly and easily find the information they need. This ensures we clearly convey our expertise and values.
