Angelique: Associate

Born and raised in Tilburg, Angélique spent many years working as an MDM Manager at an international technical wholesaler. Driven by her desire to keep learning and continuously challenge herself, she joined Squadra in 2018 as an Associate and Business Consultant. “I haven’t regretted that decision for a single second. Even after eight years, I’m still very happy with my choice.”

What Does an Associate Do?  

As an Associate, Angélique works as an independent consultant, helping organizations unlock more value from their data. “I help companies manage their data more efficiently,” says Angélique. “When you’re shopping online, for example, products need to be easy to find and filter. That requires well-structured product data. The same principle applies to business processes,” she explains. As an Associate, Angélique supports organizations with the implementation and management of systems that enable effective data management.

“As an Associate, you’re essentially the bridge between business and IT. I speak both languages and help translate technical possibilities into practical business solutions.”

A key part of Angélique’s work is connecting business and IT. She helps both sides understand each other by translating technical challenges into practical solutions and converting business requirements into concrete data and IT initiatives. This ensures that data is not only managed effectively but also delivers measurable value to the organization’s objectives.

Working Independently, Sharing Knowledge  

As an Associate, Angélique works as an independent entrepreneur. That doesn’t mean she’s on her own. “I enjoy working in teams where we strengthen one another, challenge each other, and continue to develop together, all with the goal of achieving great results.” Within Squadra, Angélique is part of a strong knowledge network where Associates continuously share expertise and help each other grow. “If I have a question, I always know who to reach out to, and the same applies the other way around. We value our independence as Associates, but that doesn’t mean we have to do everything alone.”

Life Beyond Work  

Outside of her work as an Associate, Angélique enjoys spending time by the sea. A long walk along the beach is her favourite way to clear her mind. “The sound of the ocean instantly makes me happy,” she says.

She also enjoys travelling, cooking, hiking, and reading. Discovering new things and continuously learning gives her energy, both professionally and personally.

What Makes You Proud?  

When asked what she’s most proud of, Angélique doesn’t hesitate. “I’m incredibly proud of the way my children have grown into independent adults.”

It’s an answer that reflects both her personal values and professional mindset. Growth, collaboration, and continuous learning are recurring themes in both her work and her personal life.
